Lebanon struggles with inadequate infrastructure, including unreliable electricity, limited clean water, and poor internet speed, especially outside the city center. This leads to frustrations with slow loading times in an age of streaming and online gaming. Consequently, pirated DVDs have become a popular and affordable solution at just $1 each, offering a reliable alternative to slow internet for glitch-free viewing.

We launched a pop-up shop in a remote Lebanese village, transforming a fruit store into a parody DVD shop that offered internet content, featuring over 100 fake DVDs of viral videos. The DVDs were giveaway coupons for reliable internet. Presenting one at Connect P.O.S. provided free wireless broadband installation and a 20% discount on the first month
