The shopping experience in Mexican stadiums has several deficiencies, notably issues of insecurity as crowded environments lead to pickpocketing. Consequently, football fans often refrain from bringing valuable items like cell phones or wallets to matches, carrying only a small amount of cash and their prized team jerseys. Corona has seen a decline in beer volume sales, prompting a need to address this issue during matches attended by an average of 50,000 people.

To reposition Corona at the center of this experience, we created a new payment solution that transforms fans’ football jerseys into digital wallets. This innovation allows fans to enjoy a cold Corona without using cash, alleviating the challenges they face in stadiums and enhancing their match-day experience.
